Making Mead

Last night Megan and I pitched mead for wedding. With only 5 months til the event, there’s no telling if it’ll be ready by then, we’ll see!

1 gallon Arrowhead spring water
2 lb 10 oz light wildflower honey from Oak Barrel Winecraft in Berkeley
1/2 tsp Lalvin D47 yeast
1/4 tsp yeast nutrient

Shake!
Wait 5 months! It’s sitting in the crawlspace. It’s consistently cool in there, maybe 58 degrees.
