How to Get off Carpet Cleaners Telemarketing Lists
Oop, I did it again. I hired a company to clean my fictitious rugs!
I’ve gotten about 5 robocall telemarketing calls from Carpet Care, 510-699-6152. I tried “press 9 to be removed from our list” a few times to no avail.
So I said “Yes, come clean my rugs!” They should be here tomorrow between 1 and 4.
I should be getting an angry human calling me tomorrow at 4:30 or so. At which point I believe I will be able to remove myself from their list.
I did this once before to hilarious (and effective) result.
Hey, what happened to my appointment? They never called, they never wrote. I want my fake rugs cleaned!
Too funny!! How did the latest “carpet cleaning” turn out. I’m in the Seattle area and I received another Diane call today. . From reading other posts on the subject, it seems to be a plague that is attacking in many areas. With all the foreclosed on houses around here, maybe I’ll try sending them to those. I’m too chicken to stay around and meet them. I don’t want my clock cleaned :-)
I was a bit sad. I haven’t heard from them since I placed my order.
This outfit is definately a scam. I am guessing they are out to steal credit card info. I recently discovered that this same
so-called “company” was fined $10,000 in Idaho for violating the DNC list. (same “Dianne”, etc.). And now it appears they are at it
again. Some people never seem to learn. I hope someone puts a stop to them, once and for all.
Know the feeling. No “Diane” today. I had such plans for her. Well maybe not plans, but I had plans to make plans if there was a next call and I wasn’t too tired. My possible plan to hire thugs to meet the carpet cleaners plan seemed a little cruel, but after more Diane calls, they may be in the picture. As soon as I figure out where to go to hire thugs and hire one to go with me on my thug hiring mission.
