This is very nice. My kids want webkinz too, but I am afraid of pedophiles. Have you had any bad experiences after posting this?

The site goes to great lengths to prevent problems like that. First, the only communication people can have between one another is canned… things like, “Hi, isn’t the weather nice?”. And just hooking up with another person is a bit byzantine… You pretty much have to know the other person already to be able to get on.
So go for it.
