Cranberry Apple Sauce that Bampha Loves
Ingredients
- 32oz jar of apple sauce, (no sugar added)
- bag of frozen cranberries
- a little sweetener: honey, sugar, whatever
- a sprinkle of cinnamon
Directions
- Put applesauce, cinnamon, and cranberries in a saucepan on medium heat, boiling lightly. The cranberries will start to pop, which is good but watch out for flying cranberries! Smoosh the cranberries a bit while it’s cooking.
- When it’s done cooking, use a potato masher to mush it well.
- Add sweetener (maybe 2 tblsp sugar) to taste
- refrigerate
It’s great on vanilla ice cream or plain yogurt.
