DIRECTIONS TO BROOKLYN SITE: (from Mike Ventrella, NeroNY@aol.com ) From the subway, take the F line one stop out of Manhattan to the "York" stop. Exit and turn right onto Jay Street. Walk 3 blocks and turn right onto Plymouth Street. From the south: Get on Route 278 (The Brooklyn-Queens Expressway) and exit at the Cadman Plaza exit and then turn right onto Old Fulton street and then immediately left onto Prospect Street. Stay on Prospect and pass by the Watchtower building until you see Jay Street on the left (It's only a few blocks). Turn left and follow Jay until you reach Plymouth (another few blocks). Turn right on Plymouth. From the north: Get on Route 278 (The Brooklyn-Queens Expressway) and exit at the Cadman Plaza exit (a/k/a the Brooklyn Bridge exit). At the bottom of the ramp, make a hairpin right turn onto Front Street. Follow Front Street for a few blocks and then turn left onto Jay Street. Follow that for two blocks and then turn right onto Plymouth. The NERO site is located at 218 PLymouth Street. There is a freshly painted white block of cement that partitions off the stairway down (a few steps) to our basement. The NERO logo is painted on the block and our name is prominent on our mailbox as well. Parking on weekends is easily available though you may have to walk a block or so. The neighborhood is mostly factories and warehouses and is pretty abandoned on the weekends and looks more dangerous than it is (I left my car unlocked one night by mistake and there still was no problem). The only people who live on the street are musicians and artists who have taken abandoned warehouses and turned them into artists' lofts so NERO folks will fit right in, and there are some families here too. that should just about cover it! I hope to see you soon! lee
