This could be done in-game in honor of a hero. IE change Magic Missile from "Cornelius' Mystic Projectile" to "Gadlen's Pleasant Surprise" or "The Undoer's Undoing" ----------------------------------------------------------------- Banish [This spell sends any extraplanar creature from Tyrra to its place of origin...] This spell sends any extraplanar creature back to its place of origin... -------------- [...for 24 Tyrran hours...] for 24 Amoran{???} hours {Amora Fortannis} -------------- [This spell cannot be used to return to Tyrra from another plane] This spell cannot transport a creature to Amora Fortannis ----------------------------------------------------------------- Circle of Power [Larger Circles can be made by having multiple spellcasters casting the spell simultaneously. For example, a 12 foot radius Circle may be made by two Casters] {is that linear or a multiplier?} {I think it should be a multiplier} Each additional simultaneous caster will double the size of the resulting Circle. { IE casters linear radius multiplier radius 1 6 6 2 12 12 3 18 24 4 24 48 5 30 96 6 36 192 7 42 384 } ----------------------------------------------------------------- Confine & Web [This spell snares the arms of its victim, binding them straight to its sides. and immobilizes the victim completely. The victim may talk freely, but may not use any game skills...] The victim's body is rendered completely rigid {????}except that the victim may talk freely. The victim may not use any game skills requiring use of it's arms or legs, including using a weapon [or shield], casting a spell, or activating a gas globe. The victim may not walk, run or be moved in any way. This spell does not prevent the victim from being searched or being given a Killing Blow. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Control Undead [This effect is stronger than Charm, Shun, Dominate or Fear. The most recent Control Undead, Vampire Charm, or Enslavement effect will take precedent if there is a conflict.] {Sleep is a command spell too} This effect is stronger than Charm, Shun, Dominate, Fear, or Sleep. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Create Undead [Note that this spell must be cast within the five minute period between a character's death and the point where the spirit heads to the Earth Circle for Ressurection] {at the end, "the" should be "an"} where the spirit heads to an Earth Circle for Ressurection ------------------ {add this} The victim's "Death Count" continues even after turning into an undead. ----------------------------------------------------------------- All Curing Spells [It will restore an unconscious character but will not resurrect a dead one] It will restore an unconscious or dying character... ----------------------------------------------------------------- Cure Disease [This spell will cure a character infected with a disease. ] This spell will cure a character infected with many types of diseases. These include the Cause Disease spell and other types of magical and non-magical diseases. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Curse {add the following} Spells that do not do damage (IE Sleep, Cure Wounds) have their normal effect on the victim. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Delayed Endow & Endow {the roleplaying use of the skill should be defined better} [This spell can also be used to perform certain limited roleplaying tasks such as dragging an unconcious or debilitated creature for ten seconds...] {??????} While under it's effects, the recipient can comfortably lift 250 lbs ----------------------------------------------------------------- Disarm [If a Paste of Stickiness was applied...] When the Paste of Stickiness is used up, the receipient must say "Resist" to inform the Caster of the result. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Elemental Shield {add this} This spell may be active ----------------------------------------------------------------- Enflame {add this} {One of these} If the item is "fragile" (see fire traps) then it will be destroyed by this spell. {or} The flame is eldritch in origin and will not damage the item. ----------- {Change the incant ????} [I summon a force to Enflame .] I summon a force to Enflame your . {OR, change the incant of Disarm..} ----------------------------------------------------------------- Imprison {add this} When delivering a killing blow, the caster would say, "Killing Blow one..two..three, Imprison Down." ----------------------------------------------------------------- Life [It restores the creature to one Body Point but the creature is not forced to ressurect.] It restores the creature to one Body Point so that the creature does not have to ressurect. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Light {replace the first sentence} [This spell produces a glowing light and allows the caster to kindle a light wand} This spell allows the caster to create a wand that emits light. The spell will not work if cast on something that does not have a built in light source. Although repairs to a broken phys rep are allowed, this must be done in-situ {???} You may not call a Hold to retrieve a new phys rep. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Repel [If it is impossible for the recipient to move more than 10 feet away from the caster because of physical obstructions when the spell is cast , the caster must first attempt to move 10 feet away from the recipient.] ...the caster must attempt to move ... ----------------------------------------------------------------- Restore Limb Consider changing it to "Restore Limbs". IE, it fixes all your Withered Limb problems at once. ????????? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Shatter [Shattering a box or door will set off any traps present as well as the items within] Shattering a trapped box or item will set off and destroy the trap as well. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Sleep [The target will not awaken for 10 minutes unless someone shakes them vigorously while shouting for them to wake. It takes one minute of shaking and shouting to wake a person this way.] {replace with} The target will not awaken for 10 minutes unless someone shakes them vigorously while shouting for them to wake for one minute. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Wall of Force [The frame must be completely enclosed and the Wall of Force must be able to be placed vertically within the frame.] The frame must be enclosed on both sides and the bottom. It must stand completely vertical. ... {what happens if there is room for the wall to expand later?} After it is cast, the shape and size of the Wall can not change. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ward [If the caster takes any damage, loses any spell defense, or becomes unable to hold the key in the lock, then the spell is blown.] If the caster takes any body damage or becomes unable to hold the key in the lock before it is cast, then the spell is blown.
