Cranberry Apple Sauce that Bampha Loves

  • 32oz jar of apple sauce, (no sugar added)
  • bag of frozen cranberries
  • a little sweetener: honey, sugar, whatever
  • a sprinkle of cinimon
  • Put applesauce, cinnamon, and cranberries in a saucepan on medium heat, boiling lightly. The cranberries will start to pop, which is good but watch out for flying cranberries! Smoosh the cranberries a bit while it’s cooking.
  • When it’s done cooking, use a potato masher to mush it well.
  • Add sweetener (maybe 2 tblsp sugar) to taste
  • refrigerate

It’s great on vanilla ice cream or plain yogurt.
